BM&M High Speed Gyratory Screening Equipment

Canfor Fiber Recovery

Logging and wood products manufacturing is still the most visible face of British Columbia, with sawmilling ranking as the province's biggest manufacturing industry. A key characteristic of this industry is its resilience and ability to raise productivity and increase its competitiveness in the face of new challenges.

Increase Fiber Recovery in Confined Space

Canfor contacted BM&M with the goal of increasing valuable fiber recovery with a tight installation footprint.

Double the Removal Capability with the "Twin Fines" Chip Screen

The equipment selected was a BM&M 10’ wide x 14’ long 3-Deck “Twin Fines” Counterflow Chip Screen for their Clear Lake Division. The unique “Twin Fines” model utilizes a total of 28’ of deck length in a reduced 14’ footprint, effectively doubling the fines removal capability, producing:

  • Increased Fiber Recovery Rates
  • Reduced Residual Fines Waste
