Super Screen Gyratory Screening System
Our Super Screen gyratory screener was specifically developed to screen finer materials and smaller particles like powdered milk, starch, salts, sugars, etc. Using patented gyratory drive technology that operates at higher speeds and with a larger stroke than other gyratory screening equipment, the Super Screen generates a greater horizontal G-load on the screened product for greater capacity and efficiency. Special frame and suspension designs help isolate the building from motion. Food-grade T304 stainless steel polished machines are available for food and pet food production.
With higher capacity and lower maintenance cost, the Super Screen system is the preferred material screening solution for many AFIA (American Feed Industry Association) affiliated companies.

The Five S’s of Screening for Feed, Grain and Ag Products
For maximum performance when screening materials like chaff, wild oats, and other unwanted materials out of your product stream, there are five key factors to consider. At BM&M, we call these the Five S’s:
- Stroke: the diameter of the horizontal circle the machine’s gyratory motion creates (7/8” to 2”)
- Slope: the angle of the screen element above horizontal (can range from 3-9°, typically 5-7°)
- Speed: the RPM of the screener (250-330 RPM, depending on the application)
- Screen area: total square feet/square meters of the screen element that your application requires (from 12 ft2 to 400 ft2, per element)

Our gyratory screeners use a gyratory circular motion that creates a larger, more effective stroke than screens that use a back-and-forth (reciprocating) motion.
